You Can Achieve!
Somewhere along our journey, many of us have learned that achievement has to be this huge milestone; several degrees, prestigious living, making lots of money, kids doing the best things, everything going perfect.
That is so far from the truth! Every single one of us are on different levels on this journey, no one level better than the other, BUT that means that achievement also looks differently. To some, it's landing a multimillion dollar deal and for others it's simply getting out of bed and creating a loving environment for themselves and their loved ones. Neither of these are more important than another, but both are achievements!
This podcast will shed light on what achievement really means and show that our real competition is with our current selves!
If you're a woman that loves to elevate, you've got to check this podcast out!

Tanisha is my conscious parenting coach! She has helped me change the way I parent and the way I see children in general.
Tanisha talks to us about modeling the behavior we want in our children, and why we should no longer hit our children. Tanisha meets parents where they are, takes the time 1:1 to help them transition into a new way of interacting with their children.
She speaks about traditional parenting and how it doesn't serve our children or our future generations. Grace, doing the work, showing up even after we fail; these are important aspects in changing the way we treat our children.
Reach out to Tanisha for 1:1 session, you WILL not be disappointed. I have been working with her for almost two years and she continues to change the way I show up!

Why I transitioned to Conscious Parenting

In the beginning, I parented by default. I did what I saw and what was done to me, for the most part. With personal development came a natural curiosity to how my parenting was affecting my children and I began to understand the true power I have in creating their belief systems about themselves and the world. If you are a traditional parent, this episode may change your life. If nothing else, listen to see what's possible. I was a teen mom.
I hit my children and use pain, shame and blame to get them to "act" how I wanted.
I focused more on behavior than the relationship. I still struggle today.
Hope this helps you see the importance in the work you are doing as a parent or anyone caring for children. It's truly God's work.

I love having conversations on other podcasts, it gives me a chance to express openly in different spaces, but to also challenge my own thinking. I also enjoy taking a break from hosting. I really appreciated the conversation I had with Aspen on her podcast where she interviews people from different walks of life around their experiences, beliefs, and "blank" space in the world!
